Preschool Age

2 to 5 years
Preschool age is probably one of the most exciting age-group for youngsters, yet it is fraught with anxiety of parents for their child’s future. Our Weller Road preschool age program can help you deal with those anxieties! Through dedication, commitment, and a well-rounded curriculum, we deliver school readiness and future planning based on the unique needs of your child.

Kids of preschool age at Weller Road, and its surrounding neighborhoods, benefit vastly from the training and experience of our early childhood education teams. Along with healthy snacks, a safe and secure environment, and plenty of physical, mental and creative activities, your child will develop their full potential towards school readiness. And it all happens under the guidelines of a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) approved study plan - The Creative Curriculum®.
The Creative Curriculum® is what differentiates our Weller Road preschool age program from many other programs that espouse similar objectives. The difference is that, under The Creative Curriculum® guidelines, your child is exposed to multiple facets of learning and development, including Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, the Arts and English Language Acquisition. This means they’ll be better prepared, compared to many of their peers, to jump right into their next phase of learning.

At our program, kids of preschool age at Weller Road and nearby communities also learn to interact with each other under careful supervision of caring, compassionate staff. Our program will also teach kids many of the skills and traits they’ll need for school readiness, such as cooperating with others, social interactions, and expressing their feelings and emotions.
