Preschool Age
2 to 5 years
Young kids enrolled in the Park Street preschool age program have the best of all worlds: Safe and secure environment; good and healthy nutrition; access to a wide array of mental, physical and character-building activities – and much more. And it all happens under the watchful supervision of our passionate, trained and experienced staff. If you are looking for a preschool program that taps into your child’s potential to the fullest, then this is the right program for you!
With the help of The Creative Curriculum® - which is a multi-disciplinary curriculum of learning for young kids, approved by Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) – our program cares for and guides young preschool age children in Park Street, and in nearby neighborhoods. Unlike many other programs, The Creative Curriculum® focuses on a broad array of preschooler development, including Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, the Arts and English Language Acquisition.
This dimension of the Park Street preschool age program is unique, because it helps young learners grow and thrive as individuals. Our staff is trained to recognize each child’s personality, and their individual learning and growth needs. Kids are then nurtured and cared for so they receive the personalized attention they deserve.

The program helps young kids of preschool age at Park Street and the surrounding communities learn how to interact with others. It helps them develop interpersonal and other social skills at a young age. They build upon their innate creative streaks, and learn to express and deal with their emotions. These are skills and traits that will get them school ready more effectively than most other preschool programs.
