Preschool Age
2 to 5 years
All early childhood educators agree that pre-schools set the stage for a child’s success in future educational, personal, and professional stages in life. Thanks to our innovative program, Brooke Grove preschool age kids are assured of the best preschool care and attention they need to establish a strong foundation for those early childhood building blocks. Everything we do is in line with The Creative Curriculum®, a teaching strategy approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
The Creative Curriculum® applies developmentally approved guidelines for children of preschool age at Brooke Grove, so that each child receives individualized and personalized attention appropriate for their growth. MCCA’s implementation of The Curriculum covers a broad spectrum of development needs, including Social-Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, the Arts and English Language Acquisition.
As a parent or guardian of a Brooke Grove preschool age child, your child receives all the care, support, and guidance they need for school readiness. The skills and knowledge they receive at our preschool age program ensures they are school ready and equipped with the confidence needed to take that next step in their academic journey. But our pre-schooling environment offers more than that!

While kids of preschool age in Brooke Grove love the curriculum’s play-based focus, youngsters in our system learn more than play. They engross themselves in group activities, learn to share toys and books with their fellow preschoolers, and learn to express their emotions, and to work with others. These are also invaluable skills they’ll use later in life.
